Thursday provided an unexpected companion to our escapades in the form of Miss G's godmother and my good friend. We went sports bra shopping with her and Little Miss G made us all laugh by running to the padded bras department and then screaming at the top of lungs: "Look, nice hats mamma!"
On Saturday I was out for a manicure, afternoon tea and wine with the girls, but Mr H sent me the cutest pictures of Miss G who was helping him to carve a pumpkin. When she saw me, she couldn't stop showing off her creation and teaching me that you need 'small candle, mamma!' looking at me in despair when I tried to put my favourite Diptyque candle inside.
On Sunday we were off to East London. The first stop was the colourful Columbia Road flower market where Miss G insisted on trying to carry the roses we bought (20 for £5: good or what?) even if they were taller than her! Afterwards we went for a walk in Shoreditch and for lunch at Beach Blanket Babylon which was suitably decorated with huge spiderwebs and spooky pumpkins. Whilst waiting for our food, we though of practising our Halloween scary faces...as you do.

Miss G has your eyes and her dad's smile ;) Did she trick or treat for Halloween. My son did his first one but I ate all the candies... Not all of them, I left one or two :s
